Our Mazak Turning Center Quick Turn 28 with a T-32 Mazatrol Control has a 12" X 40" capacity and is specifically designed for small lot production runs. Factory trained set up operators are capable of programming for the next set up while machine is in operation. Programs are saved to floppy disc and filed with special tooling and detailed set up information for easy access for repeat runs.

Specialty tool steels are used a great deal in the automotive and steel making industries. Specific requirements are scheduled with customers to ensure adequate supplies of spares are maintained at all times. Sandrin holds a number of blanket orders for repeat spares with various customers. All components are manufactured to ISO-9002 Standards.


 

   

The manufacture of specialty detail tool and dies as well as prototype work for the automotive industry has been an integral part of Sandrin's growth. To support this growth, we are currently certified ISO 9002 and are working towards QS 9000 certification.

Our CNC machining equipment is specifically designed for long and short production run of parts requiring tolerances of up to .0005. Our Mazak bridge type machining center Jigmatic AJV-25/405N with a Mazatrol M-32 Control, with a spindle speed of 5000 RPM, a 40 tools magazine and two pallet changer has machining capacity of 18" X 20" X 40".

Backed by a fully equipped prototype machine shop, we are able to handle all of our customers' needs for one off as well as production runs and repetitive orders.

Our automated production sawing capacity is 14" with a 30" bar feed of three stages, for a total length of 90". The cutting area is serviced with overhead cranes to facilitate material handling. Material and cutting is contained within a secured area to ensure our material traceability requirements under ISO 9002. The inspection department maintains their equipment situated within the secured area.

All materials are bar coded, computerized and hard copy records are maintained at all times.

Sandrin has worked directly with customer engineering personnel in the design, and development of new products and equipment. This practice involves a close working relationship with the customer as well as detailed knowledge of machining principles and practices in order to accomplish the required results.
