The 2006 fiscal year marks Sandrin Services Inc. sixty-eighth (68th) year in business. The company started as a small machine shop in Kirkland Lake, Ontario by brothers Albert and Arthur Sandrin who later opened a second location in Sarnia, Ontario. Since then, Sandrin Brothers Limited has expanded three times to its current 5-acre site on Exmouth Street, broadened our machining capabilities to include Fleetfusion (spiral weld) and Insitu (on-site or in place) Machining and added a welding and fabrication facility capable of handling almost every known machine repair and plant maintenance function on site and/or in the field. Arthur passed on the Sarnia operation of Sandrin Brothers Limited to his sons, Lucio and Wally.

In 1976, we broadened our long-established service business to include a Marine Repair Division (Sandrin Canal) and more recently opened a small vessel Dry Dock in Port Colborne, ON.

In 1995, we expanded in detail tooling and machine manufacturing for the automotive, packaging and military industries enabling our company to provide expertise in design, tooling and machining for service and production volumes.

In December of 1997, Sandrin achieved their ISO 9002 certification; as well, our welding/fabrication facility operates to the C.W.B and B620 standards.

Over the last decade, we have pooled our company resources. The wealth of diversity and experience that 68 years brings has created a cost effective "one stop shopping" environment allowing us to maintain our position as leaders in the Service, Maintenance, Machine, Welding and Manufacturing locally, nationally and internationally. We service such industries as petro-chemical, automotive, truck-trailer, mining, pulp and paper, power generation, marine, mechanical and manufacturing industries.

We have continued to provide our customers with quality products, for the best value and on an "on time" basis. Sandrin started out as a family business and that 'family' atmosphere still extends throughout the Sandrin organization. Lucio's daughter and son, Deanna and David, are now managing.

Although Sandrin Services Inc. provides service on an international scale, the commitment to quality and the customer has never changed nor has the company's focus on the "family" aspect. Our people are the magical key ingredient to our successful operation and an integral part of the Sandrin team. Employing over 50 people, we provide one of the strongest complements of skilled trades personnel. This philosophy has made us capable of surviving two (2) generations and continuing into the third.
